Soho - Ham Yard Project - Firmdale Hotels - Planning Applications

The Ham Yard Project site lies directly north of Piccadilly Circus. This application represents a proposal to redevelop this very well-known derelict site that has long cast a shadow over this part of the Soho Conservation Area for many years.

The new owners of this site, Firmdale Hotels, already own and operate six hotels in London. The plans set to extend their high quality hotel offer to this part of Soho. This would be combined with other uses such as residential apartments, bars and restaurants along with small retail units. Taking all this into account, they seek to provide an engaging and active public experience.

The developers have agreed to install a public Drinking Fountain as part of their development which will allow visitors to the area access to clean potable water.
