Traffic in the #WestEnd 'must be halved by 2020'

On Tuesday the Evening Standard published an article relating to traffic in the West End.

I agree with Jace Tyrrell from The New West End Company- pedestrianising our main routes and driving the traffic into residential side streets will fail to solve the salient issue.

By working together we can reduce the traffic issue in the West End.

Initiatives on waste collection on Bond Street have had a positive effect on emissions, and have actively reduced the amount of traffic. Maybe something similar will help on Oxford Street.
